Cantigny Park Curator Jeffrey Anderson investigates the fascinating history of the German World War II U-505 submarine and how it came to reside in Chicago. Anderson's presentation navigates the documents, photographs, and videos that tell the story of how the submarine was saved from destruction and moved to Chicago's Museum of Chicago and Industry.
"The U-505 and the Chicago Tribune" is hosted in partnership with our friends at the Naval War College Museum.
This event is hosted virtually on Zoom. Event is free of charge, and registration is not required.
